Customer Research Specialist - Ocean Shipping
OOCL North America Group is one of the world's largest integrated international container transportation companies. They are seeking a Customer Research Specialist to manage customer data queries, validate information, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Manage email queries regarding existing customer data to identify if current information is accurate, compliant and meets all OOCL business requirements
Research public records online to validate customer information, company’s business license, and location
Perform detailed review to meet daily business timeframe of all required customer profile validation
Maintain accurate customer profile records in the internal online system
Provide comprehensive update of North America customer records to ensure all regulatory compliance requirements are met
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
Experience in administrative, customer service, or other roles involving data handling
1-3 years of data entry experience
Demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken Spanish
Preferred
Attention to detail and capturing accurate information
Able to handle multiple tasks and quickly adjust priorities based on work demands
Able to interpret information and identify how to apply based on queries received
Work well under pressure
Effective verbal and communication skills
