Responsibilities
Provide immediate responses to client and customer questions
Perform laboratory assistant duties including specimen processing, add-ons, and send-outs
Investigate and resolve client issues, discrepancies, and report concerns
Notify clients of STATs and critical values in accordance with guidelines
Track and monitor send-out tests, escalating issues when necessary
Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely service and accurate results
Maintain confidentiality, compliance, and professional communication at all times
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Computer proficiency with the ability to learn new software quickly
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Preferred
Laboratory Assistant (LAS or LA) experience
Previous customer service experience
1–2 years working in a clinical laboratory environment
