Postdoctoral Fellow - Computational Genomics & Cancer Epidemiology
MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to join a multidisciplinary research program in the molecular epidemiology of lymphoid malignancies. The role involves investigating genetic variations and their influence on blood cancers, while developing computational methods and independent research directions.

Responsibilities
Developing computational phenotyping methods to identify precursor conditions in large cohorts
Characterizing clonal growth trajectories in B-cell precursors and their somatic drivers
Investigating the combined effects of inherited and acquired genomic alterations on cancer risk and prognosis
Fellows will be supported in developing independent research directions, publishing in high-impact journals, and presenting at national and international meetings
Qualification
Required
Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree in epidemiology, genetic epidemiology, bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field
Demonstrated experience in genomic data analysis and statistical programming (R, Python)
Interest in cancer epidemiology and early detection of lymphoid malignancies
Strong written and oral communication skills, with a publication record
