The Documentation Representative will be responsible for producing bills of lading, coordinating export and import manifests, and ensuring compliance with customs requirements for containerized cargo.

Responsibilities
Respond to incoming calls and provide clear and concise response to inquiries, troubleshoot problems, provide accurate information, and maintain a pre-defined Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
Process external and internal requests submitted electronically or via email. Complete urgent cases including those submitted by offshore Documentation group within same day
Monitor incomplete Bill of Ladings and communicate directly with customers and other functional departments to facilitate completion. Release Bill of Lading upon completion and vessel sailing
Reconcile advanced manifest services in order to resolve discrepancies, obtain missing information and submit manifest to customs and terminals
Qualification
Required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, time management and flexibility
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Preferred
Knowledge of Tariff rules and regulations
Knowledge of customs, letter of credits and shipping industry related experience
Attention to details
Spanish/English bilingual
