Financial Specialist - Tax Coordinator

Alliance HCM is currently hiring for a full-time Financial Specialist - Tax Coordinator to work alongside their finance department. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate tax filings while maintaining communication with clients and managing service tickets.

Responsibilities

Work with tax department employees to ensure timelines are met for daily, quarterly, and annual filings
Communicate with the applicant support team to ensure all required tax information is obtained from clients
Manage functions for all service tickets, correction tickets, and lost client tickets using SalesForce
Maintain consistent communication with clients via phone or email
Research employee setup when a new tax code is generated and gather necessary application instructions and forms
Maintain and reconcile quarterly 941 filings and data in payroll and tax software systems

Required

5+ years of experience working with agencies on notice resolution
Experience with MasterTax as well as working with accounting software, HCM, CRM, and payroll systems
Strong knowledge of applicable federal and state tax regulations
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within payroll tax accounting
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data
Excellent people and customer service skills

Preferred

At least 5 years of experience working with payroll tax operations in a multi-company, multi-state organization, or an outsourcing environment
