Responsibilities

Execute functional, regression, and user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality, stable releases

Develop test cases, test scripts, and acceptance criteria based on expected system behaviors and provided requirements

Use SQL to investigate issues, validate data, analyze defects, and confirm system logic

Document test results, system workflows, release details, and identified issues

Reproduce reported defects, conduct analysis to pinpoint root causes, and collaborate with development teams to resolve them

Analyze product usage patterns and system interactions to identify potential issues or improvement opportunities

Provide clarification on system behavior and expected functionality to internal teams

Assist the Product Manager with requirements clarification, functional documentation, and refinement of specifications as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience

4+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, QA Analyst, or related role with a strong testing focus

Proficiency with SQL for querying, data validation, and troubleshooting

Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and regression cycles

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail

Effective communication and ability to collaborate with product, QA, and development teams

Preferred

Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments

Familiarity with APIs, data structures, or system integrations

Experience with BI or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Experience using issue tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
