Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and advance new development opportunities through site assessments, market research, financial modeling, and feasibility analysis
Prepare and manage development budgets, underwriting assumptions, and project schedules to support investment decisions
Direct entitlement processes, including zoning analysis, land use approvals, and coordination with planning authorities
Manage pre-development activities and oversee comprehensive due diligence efforts
Work cross-functionally with internal teams including acquisitions, construction, finance, and asset management
Lead the full development lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal agencies and local officials to secure permits and approvals
Oversee and manage third-party consultants such as architects, engineers, legal advisors, and environmental specialists
Provide support to asset and property management teams to ensure seamless transition from development to operations
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated success leading industrial and logistics real estate development projects
Strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to manage both internal teams and external partners
In-depth knowledge of zoning regulations, entitlement processes, and permitting requirements within the Atlanta market
Advanced financial acumen, including experience with underwriting, due diligence, ROI and NOI analysis, and development-level financial modeling
