Test Instrumentation Engineer

Responsibilities
Independent development, management, and implementation of instrumentation plans and methodologies to meet measurement objectives to support DTRA testing
Research, development, and integration efforts to maintain currency in state-of-the-art and emerging/developmental data acquisition systems and sensor technologies across the CWMD testing spectrum to ensure maximum effectiveness and to fill voids in testing capabilities
Development and implementation of rigorous processes to ensure new sensor and data acquisition technologies are properly investigated and validated prior to introduction into the DTRA inventory
Development of test plans and methodologies to perform validation and verification testing of existing and emerging measurement diagnostic technologies and systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in engineering or a scientific field with at least 12+ years of overall experience
Experience with DTRA research and development or developmental testing and evaluation
ACTIVE Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Preferred
Prior support to DTRA RD-TS or RD-CXW
