Responsibilities
Define and implement testing strategies for cloud operations and platform engineering
Establish best practices for performance, resilience, and disaster recovery testing
Conduct end-to-end and cross-service integration tests across microservices, APIs, and infrastructure layers
Simulate real-world failure modes and validate auto-healing mechanisms
Perform chaos engineering experiments to validate recovery objectives and RTO/RPO targets
Drive test automation using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Validate adherence to regulatory standards and ensure secure configurations
Provide technical guidance on modern test tooling, automation techniques, and best practices
Partner with development, platform, and operations teams to integrate testing into SDLC
Continuously evaluate and improve the automation strategy, tools, and processes. Stay on top of the latest trends in test automation and integrate innovative approaches to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
Drive innovation in test methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
6+ years in software testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Hands on experience in developing and implementing test strategies, roadmaps, and operational excellence plans
Proven leadership in automation strategy, team development, and cross-functional collaboration
Strong communication skills with executive presence and stakeholder influence
