Responsibilities
Evaluate complex transactions and provide technical accounting guidance under U.S. GAAP and other applicable standards
Research new and emerging accounting guidance and develop position papers and implementation plans
Support external audit, regulatory reviews, and internal control initiatives
Serve as a technical resource to finance, accounting, and business partners across the organization
Lead or participate in special projects related to accounting policy, system implementations, and financial reporting
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for complex or non-routine areas
Communicate accounting impacts, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership
Provide mentoring and technical guidance to other accounting and finance professionals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
6–10 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience
Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
Preferred
Current or prior public accounting experience strongly preferred
CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
Experience supporting large, complex organizations preferred
