The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise with Murex versions 50 and above, capable of creating, configuring, and troubleshooting environments from scratch.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Murex 3.1 environments across DEV/UAT/PROD Own environment orchestration, configuration, and service lifecycle
Troubleshoot Level 1 and 2 issues involving the application, DB, and infrastructure
Perform environment upgrades, patching, and environment cloning
Lead technical investigations and root cause analysis for stability and performance
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support development and release cycles

Required

6+ years of direct experience with Murex 3.1 (v50 and above)
Deep understanding of Murex infrastructure and architecture
Strong troubleshooting expertise (logs, services, batch jobs, DB connectivity)
Capable of designing and building new environments (not just running pre-built setups)
Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Strong Unix/Linux OS knowledge
Advanced Shell scripting skills
Python scripting is a strong plus
Experience with Oracle and/or Sybase (SQL, connection tuning, performance)
Familiarity with job schedulers, crontab, autosys, and batch orchestration
Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins, etc.) is a plus
