Responsibilities
Design EDW Data Vault and Dimensional Data Warehouse data models using SqlDBM
Collaborate with Advanced Analytics, IT and Business Teams to gather data requirements and translate them into conceptual, logical and physical data models
Engineer data pipelines to transform complex and disparate data sources that powers the EDW
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to help develop and upskill the EDW Team along with fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
Become a subject matter expert in multiple business processes and subject areas
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Dimensional Data Modeling (star schemas) experience required
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Business Intelligence roles
Experience developing data pipelines / ETL jobs for Enterprise Data Warehouse
5+ years of SQL experience including complex data transformations
Demonstrates the Core Values of Delta Defense, LLC
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science/Analytics, statistics, or equivalent relevant experience
1+ years dbt experience preferred
Modern cloud database experience with platforms like Snowflake
Modern Business Intelligence experience with platforms like Tableau or Sigma
