(Junior) Event Marketing Manager

As a Junior Event Marketing Manager, you will design and execute the events strategy, partnering with various teams to enhance visibility and engagement within the developer and observability communities.

Responsibilities
Identify, tier, and prioritize US events by audience, reach, cost, and pipeline potential
Manage sponsorships, booths, logistics, vendors, branding, shipping, swag - on time and on budget
Coordinate compelling talks, demos, and workshops with SEs/PMs
Design capture flows (badge scans, QR codes, forms), ensure clean CRM handoff, and enable fast SDR/AE follow-up
Drive pre-event promotion (outbound, social, email), on-site engagement (demos, meetings), and post-event nurture campaigns, write Event enablement for Sales follow up
Own budgets, track ROI, manage vendors, and negotiate sponsorships effectively
Support strengthening Dash0’s presence in the OpenTelemetry community (meetups, ambassadors) and ensure consistent brand execution
Ensure all activities meet GDPR, legal, and security requirements
Qualification
Required
2–3+ years in event marketing / planning
Experience managing multiple large-scale events in parallel
Comfortable working with technical content
Excellent project and stakeholder management skills—organized, detail-driven, hands-on, fast
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Preferred
Existing relationships in the CNCF/AWS ecosystem and with US event organizers
Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and large-scale observability challenges
Experience in high-growth startups, building programs from the ground up (0 -> 1)
