Brahms Design, LLC is an architectural design firm committed to enhancing the lives of seniors through quality design. The Project Architect will lead the development of construction documents, collaborate with various stakeholders, and mentor junior staff to ensure architectural excellence.

Architecture & Planning

Responsibilities

Lead the creation of construction drawings and specifications, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency across projects

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and client representatives to align scope, schedule and deliverables

Partner with the Director of Architecture to track schedules, progress, and resolve technical challenges

Collaborate with the development team to identify and integrate design opportunities that meet project objectives

Mentor and provide technical guidance to Design Professionals to support their growth

Review consultant documents, shop drawings, and submittals for compliance with project requirements

Facilitate and participate in client and consultant meetings; document decisions and oversee implementation

Assist in quality assurance and quality control reviews to maintain consistency, accuracy, and firm standards across deliverables

Conduct site visits to observe construction progress and prepare field reports

Required

Bachelor or Master's degree in architecture required by hire date

Licensed Architect or actively working toward licensure

Strong technical knowledge of building systems, codes, and detailing

Experience producing full sets of construction documents

Proficiency in Revit for production and coordination, and Enscape for Visualization

Ability to coordinate across disciplines and communicate clearly with consultants and contractors with a strong commitment to serving in-house team members

Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing repeat project workflows
