ServiceNow Developer

Leidos is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to be part of the mission solution and help lead SSA’s Digital Modernization Strategy. The role involves providing development support for ServiceNow projects, collaborating on architecture design, and leading the development of solution artifacts to meet the needs of the Social Security Administration.

Responsibilities

Provide development support for ServiceNow projects and enhancements
Develop process workflows and automation strategies
Collaborate with the team in architecture design development and reviews
Lead the development of solution artifacts, such as road maps, optimization of operations, architecture and/or block diagrams with a view outside of User Story requirements
Based on your experiences and interests, we may ask you as a technology professional to support growth-related activities, including prototypes, and oral presentations. Team members are also expected to uphold and maintain appropriate certifications for their practice expertise

Required

Bachelor's and 4 years of experience, Master's and 2 year of experience or 8+ in lieu of a degree
3+ years of experience as ServiceNow developer
3+ years of experience with technical discussions and reviews
Experience across numerous parts of the ServiceNow platform and experience with commonly integrated third-party technologies
Excellent understanding of system architecture, design principles, and impacts
Experience supporting IT related data integrity (CMDB, HAM, SAM etc.)
Excellent technical leadership skills and initiative to take on additional responsibilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills to deliver technical solutions simply and succinctly
Experience with the US Federal Government
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement
Required ServiceNow required certification: Certified System Administrator (baseline)
Required ServiceNow required certification: Certified Application Developer (baseline)
3+ years of experience with developing ServiceNow solutions across various platform applications, such as ITSM, ITOM (HAM and SAM), ITSM, EA (APM/TRM/TPM)
3+ years of Industry experience (e.g. Financial Services, Healthcare, High Tech, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.)
2+ years of technical leadership experience driving change/solutions

Additional ServiceNow CIS certification with preference for the following: CIS – Customer Service Management
CIS – IT Service Management
CIS – Discovery
CIS – Service Mapping
CIS – Strategic Portfolio Management
CIS – Application Portfolio Management
CIS – Software Asset Management
CIS – Hardware Asset Management
