Sr. Non-Destructive Testing Technician
VSE Aviation is seeking a Sr. NDT Technician responsible for conducting and interpreting non-destructive tests on various aircraft components and structures. This role ensures the integrity and quality of parts while maintaining compliance with industry and regulatory standards and supports day-to-day NDT operations.

Responsibilities
Perform and interpret non-destructive tests on aerospace components using a variety of NDT techniques. This includes the preparation of parts before or after testing in accordance with approved work instructions
Prepare detailed inspection reports and ensure proper documentation of all findings, ensuring compliance with customer, company, and regulatory requirements
Set up and calibrate NDT equipment and conduct tests in accordance with approved procedures and specifications
Interpret and evaluate test results according to applicable standards, codes, and specifications, and make recommendations based on findings
Develop and write NDT procedures in alignment with company standards, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices
Conduct internal operational performance reviews to ensure quality and compliance of NDT operations
Review and analyze work orders, technical manuals, and blueprints to determine appropriate NDT methods and inspection criteria
Provide technical guidance and training to Level 1 and Level 2 NDT Inspectors, promoting skills development and quality performance
Maintain NDT equipment and conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard
Support the day-to-day NDT operations, troubleshooting issues, and assisting in workflow management to maintain efficiency
Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, and company safety, quality, and environmental policies
Participate in audits, inspections, and corrective actions as needed

Qualification
Required
Hold a Level 3 NDT certification
