Responsibilities

Develop compelling positioning and messaging for Diagrid Enterprise, Diagrid Catalyst, and future product offerings
Create differentiated value propositions that resonate with both technical decision-makers and business stakeholders
Establish clear product narratives that connect open-source Dapr benefits to enterprise commercial value
Highlights product benefits to both the development community and the platform/SRE teams who deploy and maintain those applications
Lead product launch strategies from planning through execution
Develop comprehensive launch plans including positioning, pricing guidance, sales enablement, and demand generation support
Coordinate cross-functional launch activities across product, sales, marketing, and customer success teams
Monitor competitive landscape in the microservices, workflow orchestration, and developer platform spaces
Conduct market research to identify opportunities and validate product-market fit
Develop competitive battle cards and objection handling for sales teams
Create high-impact marketing collateral, including solution briefs, case studies, whitepapers, and demo scripts
Help develop sales tools, training materials, and competitive positioning documents for the commercial offerings
Partner with engineering and the founders to create thought leadership content that drives demand
Conduct customer interviews and gather feedback to inform the product roadmap and marketing strategy
Build intelligence around the open-source usage
Develop customer advocacy programs and success stories
Collaborate on campaign strategy and content development
Support event marketing including conference presentations, webinars, and trade shows

Required

4-6 years of product marketing experience in B2B technology companies
Proven experience with open-core or open-source business models
Strong background in developer tools, infrastructure, or cloud platforms
Track record of successful product launches and go-to-market execution
Proven experience in applying new AI-driven approaches to accelerating your work (writing, reporting, etc.)
Solid grasp of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native development. We would expect you to have comfort and competence to the level that you can demo our code-first solution and articulate the core functions and primitives
Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business value
Experience marketing to both developers and DevOps audiences
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with experience using AI and data to drive decisions
Project planning, with attention to detail
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, remote environments
Customer-centric approach with strong empathy for user needs

Preferred

Experience with workflow orchestration, AI/ML platforms, or enterprise infrastructure solutions
Background in both technical and business stakeholder communication
Previous experience at high-growth B2B SaaS companies
Familiarity with open-source community dynamics and contribution models
