Civil Engineer - Project Manager

Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for municipal clients and manage projects of varying complexity
Interpret specifications and drawings, recommend design modifications, and coordinate with the design team
Lead and perform planning, studies, and design for municipal water/wastewater projects
Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and permit applications
Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues, and coordinate with other disciplines
Lead and perform construction management services
Develop and maintain client relationships and participate in business development activities
Represent Tetra Tech in professional and community organizations
Ensure work is performed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in the municipal engineering market
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon and/or Washington, or ability to obtain within six months
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Proven success in managing complex projects and meeting client expectations
Experience developing proposals and delivering profitable projects
Strong communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to plan, scope, and execute large-scale engineering projects
Knowledge of industry trends, strategic planning, and translating strategies into effective execution

Preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience in technical and business presentations
Demonstrated success in marketing and client account development
