Responsibilities
Inspect, test, and measure components and completed products to verify conformance with engineering drawings and customer specifications
Use precision measurement tools such as rulers, calipers, gauges, and micrometers to evaluate product dimensions and quality
Approve or reject finished items based on inspection results
Ensure all products meet company and customer quality standards
Quarantine and document any materials or products that fail to meet specifications
Communicate inspection findings with production, engineering, and other relevant teams
Record and maintain accurate inspection and test data, including detailed documentation of results
Perform incoming parts inspections to verify supplier quality
Manage quality‑related communications with vendors, including issues related to nonconforming materials
Maintain statistics and reports on rejected materials, failures, quality concerns, and vendor returns
Oversee and maintain the calibration program for all in‑house test equipment and tools
Ensure proper ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) controls are followed within manufacturing areas
Qualification
Required
Requires a minimum of 4 - 6 years of related experience
Preferred
Strong knowledge of quality standards and inspection practices required
ASQ certification preferred
