Responsibilities
Designing and implementing large-scale software services for hardware qualification, encompassing CPU health scanning, performance benchmarking, and thermal/power validation
Developing and integrating software across multiple platforms
Complete ownership of code from design through development, specifically working with CPU and Memory components utilized throughout AWS servers
Working closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS to improve security, performance, quality, and cost
Deliver high-quality software on tight schedules, impacting the reliability and performance of millions of servers powering AWS services worldwide
Qualification
Required
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
