Hubbell Gas Utility Solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the telecommunications sector. This role involves establishing strategic partnerships and influencing product specifications while supporting field sales with technical expertise.

Oil & Energy

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of telecom market trends and technologies
Establish and strengthen partnerships with Tier I carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Lumen, Hawaiian Telecom) and top turf contractors
Support field sales with technical expertise, product training, and educational demonstrations
Track key projects from inception to completion using Salesforce and Power BI
Stay current with industry standards (ATIS, TIA, BICSI) and communicate updates to the sales team
Represent Hubbell at major trade shows and conferences (NATE, PEG, AMOC, Connect(X))
Work with OEMs and engineering firms to secure Hubbell product specifications in new designs and projects
Plan and execute strategic contractor events, regional meetings, and industry trade shows

Required

Strong background in telecom or electrical markets
Sharp business acumen

Ability to travel up to 50%
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and results-driven
Valid driver's license
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or Communications
Experience in electrical or telecom markets
