Responsibilities
Perform electro-mechanical technical functions: design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems
Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level problems in electrical and mechanical systems
Perform new system installations, NPI setups, and field upgrades
Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, and written/verbal instructions to conduct testing and troubleshooting
Compile logbooks and test documentation with strong technical writing skills
Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms per engineering and manufacturing specifications
Maintain a safe, clean, and secure work environment, following all safety standards
Assist in correcting process issues and perform rework as needed, generating Quality Notifications
Qualification
Required
Ability to write detailed technical reports and test procedures
Competence in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on VSE platforms
Full understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes
Ability to build equipment from unreleased schematics, assembly drawings, and pictures
Experience with hand and power tools
Familiarity with electrical test devices, meters, and fiber optic communications
Strong troubleshooting skills
Build and fabrication skills
Familiarity with measuring devices
Preferred
Experience with motion controls using PMAC
