Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day technical support to production and maintenance teams, ensuring reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
Lead troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of process equipment to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
Oversee the Maintenance Department, supervising the Maintenance Supervisor and ensuring preventive and predictive maintenance programs are executed effectively
Install, commission, and start up new or modified equipment and facilities, ensuring systems meet safety and performance standards
Identify and implement improvements to equipment performance, process safety, and plant efficiency
Manage maintenance and reliability budgets, monitor expenditures, and coordinate vendor and contractor support
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, driving a strong culture of safe work practices
Support upgrades to electrical and control systems to enhance reliability and plant operability
Train operators and maintenance personnel on equipment operation, repair, and troubleshooting
Provide 24/7 technical support for urgent plant issues

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (preferred) with 2+ years of hands-on engineering or maintenance experience
Strong knowledge of manufacturing process equipment, with demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems
Field-oriented engineer with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Experience supervising or supporting maintenance teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer-based maintenance systems
Working knowledge of process control systems and equipment reliability practices
Strong communication and leadership skills with potential to grow into operations or supervisory roles
