Recovery Specialist

Responsibilities
Investigate and locate vehicles that are overdue or in default using various databases, skip tracing tools, and fieldwork
Coordinate and execute the recovery of vehicles in compliance with all applicable laws and company policies
Communicate effectively with customers to negotiate payment arrangements or voluntary returns when appropriate
Collaborate with law enforcement, repossession agents, and legal counsel to facilitate recovery processes
Maintain accurate records of recovery activities, status updates, and documentation for audit and reporting purposes
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in asset recovery, collections, or a related field within the automotive industry
Strong knowledge of skip tracing techniques and recovery regulations
Ability to work independently and manage multiple recovery cases simultaneously
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Criminal Justice, or a related field
Certification in repossession or recovery operations
Experience working with law enforcement or legal entities in asset recovery
Familiarity with GPS tracking technology and recovery software platforms
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
