Responsibilities
Define and maintain enterprise-wide data domain taxonomy
Collaborate with data stewards and business units to align domain definitions with business processes
Support metadata tagging and classification within each domain
Design and implement a centralized data dictionary using governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation)
Ensure consistent definitions, formats, and business rules across systems
Partner with data owners to validate and update dictionary entries
Assist in the development of governance policies and standards
Support data quality initiatives by identifying gaps and inconsistencies
Participate in governance councils and working groups
Work closely with IT, analytics, and business teams to gather requirements
Provide training and documentation to promote adoption of governance tools and practices
Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Business, or related field
2+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or data quality
Familiarity with data governance tools and frameworks (Acryl Data)
Strong analytical and communication skills
Experience with enterprise data environments and cross-functional collaboration
Preferred
Experience with PASS or other authentication and data systems
Knowledge of Looker or other BI platforms
Understanding of data cataloging and lineage tracking
