Amazon is seeking a Sr. Product Marketing Manager for its AWS Industry Marketing team, focusing on the Media, Entertainment, Sports, and Games sectors. Responsibilities
Partner with product management and GTM teams to develop Media, Entertainment, Sports, and Games portfolio-level strategy documents and guide AWS service prioritization
Create and own Media, Entertainment, Sports, and Games positioning and messaging that clearly articulates value propositions to customers
Analyze and synthesize market data from multiple sources — including direct customer feedback — to identify product opportunities and shape Media, Entertainment, Sports, and Games portfolio strategy
Lead Media, Entertainment, Sports, and Games product launch strategies and associated plans, including naming, target audience definition, and marketing vehicles
Craft, execute, and refine marketing plans and leverage channels to engage key audiences, reach our customers, and help grow their understanding and usage of AWS services
Develop technical content including presentations, demonstrations, and reference architectures that educate customers on AWS offerings
Represent AWS as a technical evangelist in executive briefings, Media, Entertainment, Sports, and Games industry events, and analyst interactions
Drive field enablement strategies to support product launches, campaigns, and customer success
Align with Media, Entertainment, Sports, and Games technical and business leaders on primary cloud and AI use cases for their specific ideal customer profiles; define best practice architecture and services for each use case
Work at both the strategic and tactical level of champion bold and creative ideas
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally to meet with customers and internal stakeholders (10-15% annually)
Qualification
Required
6+ years of professional work (non-internship) experience
Bachelor's degree, or experience in a relevant field
Experience developing and delivering presentations to large and diverse audiences
4+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
6+ years of direct experience working with Media, Entertainment, Sports, and Games customers on cloud technology adoption
Preferred
Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
Experience developing detailed go to market plans
Experience in data analysis, with the ability to interpret and draw insights from data to inform decision-making processes
4+ years of communicating with and presenting to executive and senior audiences experience
MBA, or Master's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing
Track record of creating compelling technical demonstrations and reference architectures
