Responsibilities

Define the long-term roadmap for the enterprise network, customer networks, wireless infrastructure, and mobile device environment
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and secure network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud (Azure) networking
Manage the entire lifecycle of the organization’s mobile devices, hotspots, and available services
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of network and mobility engineers and specialists to achieve operational excellence
Plan and oversee major network and mobility initiatives, from initial design through deployment and ongoing support
Implement and enforce network and mobility security policies, including firewall and VPN technologies, to protect organizational data and systems
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and performance standards are maintained
Provide high-level technical support, lead incident response efforts, document and track KPI’s and perform network analysis to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Manage the budget for mobility and network services. Advocate for additional funding projects. Negotiate contracts with network providers, vendors, and 3rd party support services

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
5 –10 years or more, in a lead or Manager role, overseeing multiple network location
Cisco CCNP/CCIE are highly desirable but not required
Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially in high-pressure situations
Outstanding project management, organizational, and time management skills
Effective leadership and strategic planning capabilities, with a track record of influencing, developing and managing high-performing teams
Demonstrates understanding of network architecture and protocols (such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF)
Hands-on experience with Meraki network devices
Proficiency in wireless networking, VPN technologies, and intrusion detection systems
Knowledgeable in managing enterprise mobility teams supporting Apple and Android platforms
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and automation scripting (e.g., Python)
Familiarity with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds
Operational experience with deploying new offices from circuit ordering to equipment placement
