Responsibilities
Perform laboratory procedures with limited oversight, including DNA extraction and PCR-based genotyping
Conduct data analysis and generate accurate reports
Independently manage work queues and shared lab tasks on a rotational basis
Troubleshoot assays and critically review data for accuracy and quality
Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety protocols, and biosecurity standards
Collaborate across teams and contribute to a positive, respectful, and efficient work environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience
Understanding of Mendelian genetics and basic molecular biology techniques
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
Experience within a laboratory preferred
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures preferred
