Responsibilities
Executing comprehensive test plans utilizing robotic test automation for wearable components (including projectors, cameras, sensors, and optics)
Operate and maintain a 3D depth‑sensing characterization lab
Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot lab equipment
Collect, validate, and analyze experimental data
Design and develop custom parts, fixtures, and test setups
Build and refine tooling to support experimental workflows
Use statistical methods and tools to derive insights from collected data
Use CAD tools for designing lab setups and custom parts
Write scripts and code (Python, C++, etc.) to automate data collection and analysis
Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams and communicate findings clearly
Qualification
Required
5-7 years of experience
Demonstrated proficiency in Python and C++
Practical experience in designing parts for 3D printing and machining
Direct experience in device control, tooling development, experiment execution, and statistical data analysis
Degree in Optical Sciences, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred; equivalent experience accepted)
Preferred
Experience with Computer Vision tools
Familiarity with Camera systems
Knowledge of Lidar mapping systems
