Responsibilities
Evaluation and selection of process equipment, pumping systems, materials selection
Development of facility layouts, construction documents, including drawings and specifications
Water and wastewater process modeling, mass balances, and design calculations
Data analysis and hydraulic modeling
Technical report writing
Construction services support
Field inspection of mechanical equipment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or related engineering field from an accredited university or college
5+ years of experience specific to municipal water and/or wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis skills, technical problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Proficient skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred
10 or more years of experience including internships specific to municipal water and/or wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems
Master's degree in mechanical or related engineering discipline
Hydraulic modeling skills (AFT Fathom, Pipe-Flo)
Construction or facility operations experience
