Responsibilities
Perform fieldwork including individual tree assessments and large-scale tree inventories
Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis (DBH, dripline, critical root zone, tree health metrics)
Prepare tree assessment reports and arborist documentation with high scientific writing standards
Conduct background research on local regulatory codes and provide analytical findings
Support wetland, habitat, and shoreline projects with report drafting and fieldwork
Communicate with clients and deliver expert recommendations
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies during field activities
Maintain organized and accurate field notes and project records
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Arboriculture, Environmental Sciences, Planning, or related field required
International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist
Minimum of five (5) years of professional arboriculture consulting experience
Strong knowledge of Pacific Northwest tree identification
Experience in tree canopy assessment and analysis
Familiarity with ANSI A300 standards and industry best practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred
ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) preferred or in progress
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and GIS/tree inventory software (preferred)
