Automation Specialist
SNI Financial is partnering with a recent IPO company that is a leader in their industry, seeking an Automation Specialist to enhance financial accuracy through automation. The role involves collaborating with accounting and finance teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform.
Human Resources
Responsibilities
Lead walkthroughs with Accounting stakeholders (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Tax, Reporting) to identify automation and process improvement opportunities
Design, build, and maintain automation solutions using Power Query, Power BI, and Power Automate
Document processes, lead stakeholder meetings, and support UAT and training efforts
Maintain and enhance existing automation tools to ensure long-term effectiveness
Qualification
Required
Strong Excel skills with hands-on experience in Power Query, Power BI, and Power Automate
Comfortable leading meetings, managing stakeholders, and documenting processes
Analytical, detail-oriented, and adaptable to learning new automation skillsets
Preferred
Background in accounting or finance is a plus (not required)
Workday experience is a plus
SQL experience is a plus
VBA experience is a plus
Python experience is a plus
