Real Estate Portfolio Management Senior Associate
Capital Automotive is a company focused on providing tailored sale-leaseback capital to the automotive retail industry. They are seeking a driven Real Estate Portfolio Management Senior Associate to manage client portfolios, oversee financial performance, and contribute to underwriting and project management efforts.

Responsibilities
Directly manage a portfolio of clients, manage client requests, and monitor client financial performance and financial covenant compliance through Quarterly Credit Reviews (QCRs). Maintain prompt and service-focused communication with team members and management
Serve as a member of fast-paced sale-leaseback and development underwriting deal teams focused on transaction management, contract negotiations, client communication, due diligence underwriting (appraisals, environmental reports, surveys, zoning reports), and credit underwriting
Leverage strong written communication skills to author and contribute to Investment Committee Memos to request and justify approval for changes to a lease or property (such as lease assignment requests, consents to property alterations)
Work with in-house and external attorneys to negotiate leases, lease amendments, purchase & sale agreements, and other property and lease-related legal documentation
Manage the approval, risk management, and administration of construction project financing on Capital Automotive’s properties, including ground-up developments as well as exterior renovations of existing facilities
Support other departments and functions by assisting in property sales, property re-tenanting, portfolio refinancing, and portfolio reporting
Contribute to continuous personal and team development by becoming a subject matter expert on certain CARS processes, leading and participating in training, and contributing to Portfolio Management recruiting efforts. Demonstrate and hone leadership skills by participating in the annual summer internship program as an intern manager, project leader, and/or trainer
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant business field
A minimum of three years of commercial credit, accounting, finance, asset management, or real estate experience desired
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational, time management, and written and oral communication skills required
