Prepare and organize loan files for underwriting and processing, ensuring compliance with FNMA guidelines
Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower eligibility and risk factors
Review contracts and documentation for accuracy and completeness
Assist in the loan origination process by gathering necessary information from applicants
Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations throughout the mortgage process
Collaborate with escrow agents to facilitate timely closings
Utilize basic math skills for calculations related to loan amounts, interest rates, and payment structures
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications related to mortgage loans
Perform 10 key typing tasks efficiently for data entry purposes
Qualification
Required
Detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of financial services, underwriting, and loan processing

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively
Preferred
Experience in underwriting and loan processing is highly desirable
Familiarity with TILA regulations and compliance requirements
Previous experience as a loan officer or in a similar role is advantageous
