Responsibilities
Identify and fix bugs in the software
Optimize the performance and scalability of the software
Ensure the overall quality and stability of the software
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to characterize and prioritize bugs
Participate in code reviews to ensure that the software meets standards for quality and maintainability
Write and maintain documentation for the software, including release notes and technical documentation
Provide technical support to users and customers as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 1-3 years of experience in software development
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Experience with Python, Linux, Git, and pytest
Experience with RDMS, preferably PostgreSQL
Experience with IoT and software driving instruments and other hardware
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
A track record of successfully maintaining and improving software products
Ability to work effectively with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
Preferred
Familiarity with biology and genetics
Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools
Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS)
Experience with agile software development methodologies
