The Material Planner will expedite the flow of materials between various departments within production, requiring strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
Assist with creating kits for all Production orders including the Machine Shop
Assist Material Manager with submitting RFQ’s for parts as needed and act as a back-up
Ability to move materials between manufacturing departments
Monitor all chemicals and document expiration dates
Enter Serial Numbers in system, expedite shortages, cycle count, and stage material
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED required
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Attention to detail
Strong analytical, problem solving, and math skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Preferred
Experience in a Manufacturing Company a plus
Knowledge of supply chain management and manufacturing processes a plus
Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel
