Fund Accountant
TRD Advisors LLC is working with several private equity fund managers seeking fund accountants with relevant experience. The role involves reviewing financials, assisting in audits, tax compliance, and liaising with fund administrators.
Responsibilities
Review of quarterly financials produced by the 3rd party Fund Administrator
Assist in the annual audit process for the Funds and preparing schedules required for the auditors
Assist in tax compliance and reporting to investors including preparation of K-1s
Assist in the valuations process for private investments
Asset monitoring, work closely with the investment team to predict future cash flows and monitor direct investments to account for all cash flows from investments
Liaise with administrator and educate them on new deal aspects
Assist compliance in KYC and due diligence on new deal flow
Maintain and manage the fund’s revolving credit facility, ensuring there are no breaches of covenants
Manage JV entities, collect accruals for parent companies
Qualification
Required
2 to 6 years of financial services accounting experience focused on private equity funds
Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution
Proficient knowledge of MS Office, particularly in Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills
