Responsibilities
Administer Windows/Linux servers, VMs, and clusters (VMware/Hyper‑V/KVM)
Monitor health and performance; tune resources and troubleshoot incidents
Apply patches/updates and manage configuration baselines (WSUS/SCCM/Ansible)
Implement security hardening, access controls, and compliance standards
Manage backups/DR (e.g., Veeam); perform restores and DR tests
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and asset inventory
Qualification
Required
3+ years administering Windows and/or Linux servers in production
Strong with virtualization, storage, and networking fundamentals
Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Bash); Git a plus
Experience with monitoring and logging tools; incident/RCA practice
Knowledge of security best practices and identity management (AD/LDAP)
Preferred
Preferred certs: MCSA/MCSE, RHCSA/RHCE, VCP, Security+
