Responsibilities
Repair flexible bronchoscopes, gastroscopes, colonoscopes and duodenoscopes
Assess customer and company owned devices by evaluating, documenting, and diagnosing condition, functionality, and cosmetic appearance of incoming flexible endoscopes
Provide high quality and cost-effective repairs in a timely manner and without direct supervision
Perform large diameter repairs including complete overhauls
Repair, refurbish, recondition, or replace missing or worn parts of flexible endoscopes to OEM specifications
Perform all repairs for Large Diameter Olympus 160,180,190 series (I/T Replace, L/G Replace, E/C Rewire etc.)
Understand and accept the responsibility to ensure the safety of all endoscopy products that are repaired by following established processes and procedures
Consistently and effectively meet or exceed repair deadlines
Maintain a good attendance record and work the hours needed to meet company goals
Provide high quality and cost-effective repairs in a timely manner
Regularly communicate anticipated repair completion dates
Maintaining a clean, well-organized work environment
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Flexible Endoscope repair experience
Superior mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Acute attention to detail and an aptitude for analyzing and solving problems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping safety and service paramount
Maintain a professional demeanor
Knowledge of parts, tools, and adhesives
Actively participate in continuing education and training of self and team members
Preferred
Previous Olympus endoscope experience
Endoscopy technician certification in endoscopy technology or be certified from a surgical technology training program is a plus (not required)
