Responsibilities

Professionally represent Raytheon on contractual transactions and work closely with customers to develop business relationships
Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, partner with Programs and cross functional team members to develop creative solutions and resolve contractual matters
Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to establish mutually beneficial relationships and influence business decisions
Partner with Key Program Functions in the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contracts implementation, as well as general contract administration
Conduct timely and effective negotiations and resolution of customer issues to maximize key financial metrics
Investigate and resolve complex contractual matters by applying astute critical thinking, gathering detailed information, seeking creative contracting techniques, and proactively collaborating with relevant stakeholders Provide strategic advice and guidance on numerous contractual rights/ obligations, regulations, and policy/procedure to mitigate risks and unauthorized changes
Multi-task routine and complex contract and proposal activities while responding to unplanned quick response requirements as they emerge

Required

Typically requires University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 5 years of experience
Active and transferable Top Secret/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
Experience with U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and / or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
Experience as a Contracts Lead and/or direct engagement with external customers

Preferred

Experience with administration and negotiation of complex proposals and contracts to include commercial contracts
Experience working Sole Source Proposals, subject to the Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act (commonly known as the TINA)
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders, including customers and leadership teams
Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and develop effective relationships with internal and external customers based on respect and trust
Mature judgment, proactive involvement in strategic issues and problem resolution skills
