Responsibilities

Effectively and professionally communicate with Appraisers, Clients (including underwriters), and Internal team members, including their direct reports

Proactively monitor the content and status of reconsideration of value requests to ensure AIR compliance and service level standards are met

Proactively solves complex appraisal issues and communicates results to the client or internal contacts

Respond to internal and external appraisal-related questions from the Operations teams, vendor partners and others

Provide appraiser quality feedback to senior level management

Complete desktop/hybrid appraisal reports and appraisal review products

Complete appraisal quality control reviews

Communicate with appraisers to reconcile escalated quality control issues

Maintain an active real estate appraiser’s license in one or more states

Required

Certified real estate appraiser in one or more states

No adverse disciplinary action, past or current against any real estate license. (appraiser, real estate agent/broker, etc.)

Minimum 3-5 years appraisal experience

Knowledge of general, federal, and state appraisal requirements including USPAP guidelines and Appraiser Independence Requirements
