Director, Recruitment & Talent Development
Direct Counsel is seeking a strategic, senior-level expert in recruitment and talent development. The successful candidate will lead recruitment efforts and key initiatives focused on organizational and employee development, ensuring a strong workforce strategy.

Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruitment for senior-level and specialized roles
Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and build proactive pipelines
Enhance employer branding and candidate experience
Develop sourcing strategies to attract diverse and high-caliber talent
Design and implement training programs, leadership development initiatives, and succession planning
Partner with managers to identify skill gaps and provide targeted development solutions
Assess organizational needs and recommend strategies to strengthen culture, engagement, and retention
Measure effectiveness of training and OD initiatives and refine as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Communication, etc
7+ years of experience in talent acquisition and/or development, with at least 3 years in a senior or strategic role
Proven experience in organizational development, training, and/or talent management
Strong business acumen & ability to align People strategy with organizational goals
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Advanced degree (MS, MBA, JD) with emphasis in Leadership, Psychology or Organizational Development
Experience within the Professional Services Industry, with a growth-oriented Law Firm
