Responsibilities
Manage complex commercial claim investigations
Interpret coverage
Investigate liability
Handle claims involving multiple vehicles, competing claims, and significant injuries
Direct counsel through litigation
Engage experts
Conduct negotiations including mediations, arbitrations, and trials
Evaluate claims to mitigate risk
Manage commercial injury claims
Determine liability and coverage
Oversee outside counsel
Handle property or business interruption claims
Pursue early settlements for efficient case resolution
Qualification
Required
Six years of relevant work experience with three years in claims handling
Three years in claims handling and a bachelor's degree
Five years of relevant work experience with three years in claims handling and an associate degree
Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling
Associate's degree and four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling
Bachelor's degree and two years in claims handling
Preferred
Attorney-represented and litigated bodily injury claim experience
Demonstrated ability to learn and apply complex facts to case law and regulatory environments
Attorney-represented bodily injury claim experience
Litigated bodily injury claim experience
