Responsibilities

Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and QMS-related documents

Prepare and update project reports ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards

Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical information and translate it into clear, user-friendly documentation

Ensure consistency and adherence to document control processes, including version control and formatting standards

Review and proofread technical content for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and industry standards

Coordinate documentation updates across multiple projects to meet deadlines and maintain alignment with project deliverables

Required

Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written (in English) with a keen eye for detail, as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with employees at all levels in the organization

Must have a functional understanding of the operation of production equipment and general assembly processes involved in the manufacturing process. Enthusiasm and ability to learn about Terumo Aortic's products and processes

Demonstrated team leadership/participation and management skills required. Ability to solve problems and communicate issues

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)

Proficient with Adobe Acrobat

Experience with Documentation Change Management

Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization

Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics

Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively meet deadlines

Bachelor's degree in writing, journalism, English, communications, engineering, biology, chemistry, or another relevant field

3+ years of experience in technical writing in one or more of the following industries: medical devices, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, industrial manufacturing (aerospace, automotive, electronics, etc.)

3+ years of experience converting and translating technical instructions and information into content intended for a variety of audiences and levels

Understanding of quality system regulations (ISO13485, 21CFR820)
