Responsibilities
Define manufacturing casting issues, collect data, analyze facts, implement solutions and review as needed
Create, update, and maintain concise and understandable documentation including but not limited to work instructions, reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals
Work with and through others for the analysis of production problems, their solution, and the effective and successful implementation of the solution
Present to management on experience at the completion of the Intern period
Qualification
Required
The qualified candidate will be working toward a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial & Systems or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field at a college or university located in Rhode Island
Demonstrated ability to research, review and analyze information from various sources
Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team setting and challenge current processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and related computer skills
