Responsibilities

Review existing geologic model and identify optimal pit limits based on marble thickness and overburden depth

Design a conceptual pit with 2–3 phased pushbacks, including bench height, slope angles, and ramp layout

Quantify overburden, marble, and waste volumes by phase, including stripping ratio analysis

Model haul routes from the new property to the crusher and calculate cycle times and haul costs

Compare total delivered $/ton cost from the new quarry to current operations, identifying trade-offs between stripping and haulage

Prepare a final presentation and report summarizing results, findings, and recommendations

Required

Pursuing a degree in: Relevant field, e.g., Mining engineer or civil engineer
