High Performance & Passive House Analytics Intern (Spring 2026)

Sustainable Comfort, Inc. is a leading energy efficiency consulting firm focused on creating sustainable and high-performance buildings. They are seeking a motivated High Performance & Passive House Analytics Intern for Spring 2026 to support Passive House and high-performance building projects through data analysis and documentation workflows.

Responsibilities

Support Passive House and high-performance building projects through data review, analysis, and organization
Assist with energy modeling inputs, verification tables, and performance-related datasets
Support Passive House documentation workflows, including version control and checklist tracking
Perform basic redlines and markups using Bluebeam or similar tools
Conduct product and system research related to high-performance building components
Organize and manage project files, including uploads to internal platforms (Dropbox, Procure), CAD exports, and PDFs
Assist project teams with analytical tasks related to building envelope performance, HVAC systems, and energy-efficiency strategies, and utility bill collection and tracking

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, sustainability, building science, environmental science, data analytics, or a related field
Interest in Passive House, high-performance buildings, and building performance analysis
Strong analytical mindset with comfort working in spreadsheets, datasets, and structured documentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage organized, repeatable workflows
Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate with a technical team
Professional communication skills and strong written clarity
Positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and strong work ethic
Ability to pass a criminal background check
High attention to detail and data accuracy
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Clear written and verbal communication
Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and apply them consistently

Preferred

Experience with data analysis tools is a plus
Familiarity with Bluebeam, Revit, or similar tools is helpful but not required
