Lallemand is a leading fermentation ingredients supplier specializing in biofuels. The Regional Sales Manager for the Biofuels Division will leverage technical expertise to drive sales growth and build client relationships in the biofuel industry.

Responsibilities

Build strong, long-term partnerships with biofuel industry clients and lead technical sales initiatives that deliver tailored solutions
Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans for key accounts, ensuring value creation and profitability
Present financial models, propose trials, and manage contracts (NDAs, MTAs, Supply Agreements) to support business objectives
Track sales and product performance, investigate issues, and collaborate with technical teams for solutions
Represent LBDS at trade shows, conferences, and industry events while providing market insights to support business development

Required

Strong technical knowledge of chemical processes related to biofuel production
Degree in Business, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales or biofuels industry
Experience negotiating and managing contracts
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
Active listening and consultative selling approach
Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven mindset
Strong organizational and time management skills
This role involves significant travel—approximately 50% to 75% of your time—across the region and occasionally internationally

Preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and statistical analysis tools
Ability to develop and interpret financial models
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
Outstanding team-building and collaboration skills
