Responsibilities
Own the assessment, planning, and execution of the enterprise transition from Hybrid Azure AD Join to fully cloud native Entra Join
Create a structured migration strategy that aligns with organizational security, compliance requirements, and operational readiness
Partner closely with infrastructure, security, compliance, and endpoint teams to deliver a frictionless identity transformation
Design new Autopilot configurations tailored for cloud based identity and enrollment patterns
Configure integrations between Autopilot, Intune, and Entra ID to support zero touch provisioning workflows
Ensure all provisioning processes meet modern management, reliability, and security expectations
Develop a comprehensive approach for upgrading the enterprise from Windows 10 to Windows 11
Validate device readiness, hardware compatibility, and user impact across varied device groups
Coordinate testing phases and rollout strategies to deliver a smooth and predictable upgrade experience
Ensure full compatibility between Entra Join and Autopilot workflows with GlobalProtect VPN
Work with network and security teams to evaluate authentication flows, access controls, and VPN policies
Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity challenges that may arise during identity, OS, or provisioning changes
Collaborate with project leaders to define scope, timelines, risk management strategies, and key deliverables
Provide expert architectural guidance throughout the lifecycle of identity and OS transformation initiatives
Communicate technical direction, project status, and issues to leadership and technical stakeholders
Create detailed guides covering Entra Join configurations, migration steps, Autopilot enrollment logic, and Windows upgrade processes
Prepare training materials and support resources for IT personnel and end users
Document challenges, resolutions, and insights to refine future processes and standards
Monitor the health and performance of Entra Join identity services, provisioning pipelines, and Windows 11 environments
Address identity and VPN related issues that may surface after deployment
Stay informed about new Microsoft features, updates, and best practices to continuously enhance the environment
Qualification
Required
Strong hands on experience with Microsoft Autopilot, Intune, and Entra ID
Deep understanding of identity lifecycle patterns including Hybrid Azure AD Join and cloud native Entra Join
Experience working with Windows 10 and Windows 11 provisioning, deployment, and lifecycle management
Familiarity with GlobalProtect VPN behavior, configuration, and troubleshooting methods
Skilled in PowerShell scripting to automate tasks and generate reporting insights
Understanding of enterprise security expectations, identity governance, and compliance frameworks
Ability to evaluate current identity and operating system landscape and outline a structured modernization plan
Experience leading broad scale transformation initiatives across distributed environments
Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
