Senior Business Acquisition Analyst

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary authority on acquisition matters, including drafting proposals, developing business cases, conducting analysis and evaluation, and approving strategies, plans, and techniques for pre-award functions
Oversee the entire life-cycle of specialized acquisition programs and projects, ensuring they meet organizational goals and standards
Evaluate contractor's performance and assures compliance with contract requirements throughout the life cycle of the contract/program
Analyze new or proposed legislation or regulations to determine impact on program operations and management

U.S. Citizenship is required
Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service
Obtain and maintain a top-secret Tier 5 clearance
Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position
Submit a credit check after a conditional offer of employment has been accepted
This position requires at a minimum Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting Officer's Representatives (FAC-COR) Level 2 Certification or equivalent
This position requires the employee to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter
The incumbent is required to complete annual ethics and procurement integrity training
You qualify for the GS-13 level (starting salary $120,579.00) if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level performing duties such as: Developing acquisition plans, source selection plans, and source selection evaluation plans for multi-year acquisitions; Interpreting and developing internal policies to safeguard the integrity of awarded contract(s); Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on contract management including compliance with applicable state and federal laws; Analyzing marketing trends and the conditions of technological advances
Time-in-Grade Requirements: Under competitive merit promotion procedures, any individual who is currently holding, or who has held within the previous 52 weeks, a General Schedule position under a non-temporary appointment in the competitive or excepted service, must meet 'time-in-grade' requirements (have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade of the grade for which you are applying)
